Baroda Mutual Fund launches Baroda Banking and PSU Bond Fund

Highlights of the NFO:

  • Scheme type – An open ended debt scheme predominantly investing in debt instruments of banks, Public Sector Undertakings, Public Financial Institutions and Municipal Bonds

  • Investment objective – The scheme seeks to provide regular income through a portfolio of debt and money market instruments consisting predominantly of securities issued by entities such as Banks, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Public Financial Institutions and Municipal Bonds. However, there is no assurance or guarantee that the objective of the scheme will be achieved.

  • Product suitability – The product is suitable for investors who are seeking to generate returns over short to medium term by investing primarily in debt instruments of Banks, PFIs, PSUs and Municipal Bonds.

  • Minimum Application Amount – First investment is Rs. 5,000/- and in multiples of Rs. 1/- thereafter

  • Plan/ Options available – Direct Plan and Regular Plan having Growth Option and Dividend Option. Dividend Option will have Dividend Payout and Dividend Reinvestment facility.

  • Fund Managers – Mr. Alok Sahoo, Mr. Karn Kumar and Ms. Hetal Shah

  • Benchmark – Nifty Banking & PSU Low Duration Bond index
